Marriage requires focused attention, yet modern life offers constant distractions. Work, entertainment, social media, and outside relationships can gradually receive energy that belongs within the marriage.
Faithfulness includes more than avoiding physical adultery. It means protecting emotional intimacy, honoring promises, and refusing secret relationships that compete with one’s spouse.
Couples should discuss appropriate boundaries with friends, coworkers, former partners, and online contacts. Transparency protects trust. A relationship that must be hidden is already a warning sign.
Spouses also need positive habits, not only restrictions. Regular conversation, affection, prayer, shared recreation, and attentive listening strengthen connection.
When temptation arises, seeking help early is wiser than trusting secrecy. God provides grace, accountability, and a way forward.

Faithful God, guard Christian marriages. Help spouses protect their covenant, resist temptation, and give one another loving attention. Amen.
