DIGITAL WISDOM FOR CHRISTIAN FAMILIES

Key Scripture: Philippians 4:8

Technology can educate, connect, and support ministry, but it can also distract families and expose them to harmful content. Christian homes need thoughtful digital boundaries.

Parents should guide children according to age and maturity. Clear expectations about screen time, privacy, social media, games, and online communication are important. Adults must model the habits they expect from children.

Device-free meals, worship, family conversations, and Sabbath activities create space for genuine connection. Families can also discuss how biblical values apply online: truthfulness, kindness, purity, self-control, and respect.

Monitoring should be combined with trust-building education. Children need to know they can report disturbing content or unsafe contact without being shamed.

Technology is a tool, not a master. The goal is not to fear every device but to use digital resources in ways that strengthen faith, relationships, learning, and service.

Prayer:
God of wisdom, guide our use of technology. Protect our homes and help us choose content and habits that honor You. Amen.
