Jesus summarized the law in two great commands: love God completely and love your neighbor as yourself. He did not abolish the Ten Commandments; He revealed their deepest principle.
Love for God rejects rival gods, idols, irreverence, and neglect of sacred time. Love for others honors parents, protects life and marriage, respects property, speaks truth, and refuses covetousness. Biblical love is more than emotion. It acts for God’s glory and another person’s good.

God of love, teach us to love You wholeheartedly and to treat every neighbor with Christlike care. Amen.
