CHRIST AT THE CENTER OF MARRIAGE

Key Scripture: Ecclesiastes 4:12

A strong Christian marriage is not built by human effort alone. Husband and wife need the wisdom, grace, and transforming presence of Jesus Christ. When both partners draw closer to God, they become better prepared to love one another.

Christ-centered marriage includes shared prayer, respect for Scripture, regular worship, and a willingness to follow the Holy Spirit. It also means allowing Jesus to shape the way a couple handles money, intimacy, parenting, work, conflict, and service.

Placing Christ at the center does not guarantee a life without problems. It provides a trustworthy foundation when problems come. Jesus teaches patience when tempers rise, forgiveness when mistakes are made, and humility when pride threatens unity.

Couples should not wait for a crisis before seeking God together. A few sincere minutes of daily prayer can strengthen spiritual intimacy and remind both spouses that they are members of the same team.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, remain at the center of every Christian home. Teach couples to seek You together and reflect Your character in their marriage. Amen.
