FAMILY RESILIENCE THROUGH FAITH

Key Scripture: Psalm 46:1

Resilient families are not families without hardship. They are families that learn to face difficulty together while trusting God.

Faith builds resilience by providing hope beyond present circumstances. Prayer, Scripture, Sabbath rest, church fellowship, and remembrance of past blessings remind family members that God is near.

Clear communication is also important. Children should receive truthful, age-appropriate explanations during a crisis. Adults can acknowledge concern without placing inappropriate burdens on them.

Resilient families identify available resources, divide responsibilities, maintain healthy routines when possible, and accept help. They allow members to grieve differently while remaining connected.

After a crisis, families can reflect on what they learned and what still needs healing. Counseling may be helpful when fear, grief, or conflict continues.

God can bring growth from painful experiences without calling the pain good. His presence gives families courage to move forward.

Prayer:
Our Refuge, strengthen families facing hardship. Give them faith, unity, practical wisdom, and supportive people for the journey. Amen.
