Key Scripture: Mark 2:27“28
Jesus declared that the Sabbath was made for humanity and that He is its Lord. He rejected burdensome human traditions while honoring the day’s true purpose.
Christ worshiped, taught, healed, and relieved suffering on Sabbath. His example joins reverence with mercy. Following the Lord of the Sabbath means receiving the day as a gift and using it to draw near to God and bless others.

Lord Jesus, teach us to keep Your Sabbath with worship, joy, compassion, and freedom. Amen.
