The seventh commandment protects the covenant of marriage. Faithfulness gives spouses security, trust, and a stable foundation for family life.
Adultery violates promises made before God and wounds many people. Christian faithfulness includes physical exclusivity, emotional integrity, honesty, and wise boundaries. Marriage reflects Christ’s faithful love for His church and should be treated as sacred.
