Every person has sinned and needs grace. Breaking God’s law should lead neither to denial nor hopelessness.
The gospel invites us to confess honestly, receive Christ’s forgiveness, and turn away from sin. Repentance may also require an apology, restitution, changed boundaries, or professional help. God’s forgiveness is free, but it is never permission to continue harming others.

Merciful God, forgive our sins, repair the harm we have caused, and lead us into changed lives. Amen.
