True worship involves both sincerity and truth. Strong emotion cannot replace biblical faithfulness, and correct forms cannot replace a surrendered heart.
The second commandment invites believers to examine worship practices. Music, art, symbols, and traditions must never replace God or contradict His Word. Worship should direct attention toward the Father, through Christ, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Prayer:
Father, make our worship sincere, biblical, Christ-centered, and pleasing in Your sight. Amen.
